According to Al Jazeera on July 14, the Israeli army continued to launch attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 78 Palestinians, many of whom were waiting to receive aid, amid stalled ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas while the fuel and food crisis worsened.
An Israeli attack near an aid distribution point in Rafah, southern Gaza, killed at least five people seeking aid on July 14, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Thus, the total number of Palestinians killed near Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) relief sites has increased to 838 since late May.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, an Israeli air strike on a refugee camp killed nine people and injured several others. In Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, four people were killed when an Israeli strike hit a shopping mall, Wafa reported.
Israeli forces also continued to intensify attacks in northern Gaza and Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that their tank was hit by a rocket in an ambush in Gaza City. A helicopter was seen evacuating people. The Israeli army later confirmed that three soldiers were killed in the incident.
Al Jazeera 's Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Deir el-Balah, said Israeli forces responded with "heavy bombardments on the Tuffah and Shujayea neighbourhoods, flattening residential buildings".
At least 24 Palestinians were killed in Gaza City and dozens more were injured, Wafa news agency said.
The attacks come as UN agencies continue to call for more aid to Gaza.
Gaza's water crisis has also worsened since Israel blocked almost all fuel shipments into the enclave on March 2.
