The iPhone XS Max and iPhone 6s Plus duo have been officially included in Apple's "classic" product catalog.

On the official website, Apple has just updated its list of classic and outdated products by adding names such as iPhone XS Max, iPhone 6s Plus, some Apple Watch models and many other products.
Accordingly, in the latest update, the iPhone XS Max and iPhone 6s Plus duo have been classified as "classic" products. The iPhone 6s Plus model was launched in 2015, while the XS Max was not released until 2018.
Vintage and obsolete devices both have special meaning to users. If a product is on the vintage list, it means that Apple can still repair it, depending on the availability of replacement parts.
In contrast, Apple will stop all hardware services for products on the obsolete list, except for battery repairs for Macs. The latest product to be included in this category is the Apple Watch Series 2.
Apple currently maintains a public database of what it considers “vintage” and “obsolete” products. Both definitions refer to the date a product is officially discontinued.
Products are considered “classic” when “Apple” stopped distributing them for sale more than 5 years ago. If after 7 years they stop being sold officially, they will be listed as “obsolete” products.
