Hyundai Motor Indonesia has officially released images revealing the upcoming upgrade of the Stargazer B-class MPV model, with the expected launch time falling on the upcoming Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 to be held from July 24 to August 3, 2025. The company's teaser image shows the 2026 Hyundai Stargazer facelift MPV in the dark and only partially reveals the signature lighting system, but the new Stargazer can be clearly seen by brightening the image.
According to Hyundai's marketing, the Stargazer facelift features horizontal daytime running lights inspired by Indonesia's equatorial location and H-shaped taillights that "symbolize the harmony and unity connecting eastern and western Indonesia." However, basically, the front end of the new generation Hyundai Stargazer is more square and with a grille influenced by the large SUV Palisade. In addition, the Korean car company also revealed that the interior of the new Stargazer focuses on practicality and comfort for the family.
Hyundai has revealed that it has integrated a number of smart storage and seating solutions to ensure a pleasant experience for all passengers. The multifunctional storage space includes cup holders, trays, side compartments and a picnic table. The dashboard is also designed to be slim and long, but it is not clear whether it will change from the present or not. In addition, the car also has independent captain-style seats in the second row, giving a premium feel and allowing flexible seating arrangements. The 2026 Hyundai Stargazer facelift will also feature adjustable armrests and settings, and these seats will also make it easier for users to get in and out of the third row.
“The Stargazer is designed with a spacious cabin and optimized interior space while still prioritizing comfort,” said Woojune Cha, General Director of PT Hyundai Motor Indonesia. “This product will be a new benchmark in the segment, meeting the needs of families with advanced technology and features for everyday mobility.” Video: Preview of the new Hyundai Stargazer Facelift MPV model.
