Representatives of the Department of Science and Technology awarded the certificate of the Idea Source Prize of the 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition 2025 to Huynh Gia Han at the school year-end ceremony.
Meeting Gia Han, I was really impressed by her confidence, intelligence, and many impressive academic achievements. Han said: "I have loved Literature since I was young, so I have spent a lot of time on this subject. My passion for studying Literature always inspires Han to live a good life, to be useful to society. For me, studying Literature means learning how to be a human being, so understanding literary knowledge also helps me in communication, knowing how to love and help my parents, siblings and friends, so that life becomes better and better."
Gia Han shared: “When I learned about the UPU International Letter Writing Competition with the theme “Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of and protect you”; with the teachers’ dedicated care and guidance, I transformed into the ocean, writing a letter to the “children” of the Earth, to talk about the beauty of the ocean in its early stages. The world is so peaceful and wonderful, where everything lives in peace and balance. Until humans appeared - the great destroyers. What humans bring to the ocean is a lot of waste, polluting the ocean and making it die. Through the letter, I hope everyone will change, join hands to protect the sea and the ocean, which is to protect our lives. Let the ocean live”.
Han's talent for Literature is highly appreciated by teachers, with a scientific presentation style, creative thinking ability and many sharp ideas. Gia Han is not only good at Literature, but also good at all subjects. During the past 7 years of study, she has achieved the title of excellent student. The most special thing about Han is her high sense of self-study. Instead of running after extra classes, Han spends most of her time reviewing the knowledge she has learned in class, and at the same time finding documents related to the subject to be able to deeply understand the lecture. Because according to her, first of all, she needs to have a firm grasp of basic knowledge before she can explore and creatively develop knowledge. With her intelligence, combined with her diligence, hard work and eagerness to learn, she has found for herself a reasonable and highly effective learning method.
In addition to being good at all subjects, Gia Han also has many "talents", she knows how to play the guitar and plays many sports .
In addition to her good academic performance, Han is also a friendly and sociable class monitor, always willing to help her friends. Han also actively participates in school activities and movements. Han said that participating in class and school activities and movements helps her become more confident in communication, interacting and learning from her friends. It helps her have more motivation to continue to try, achieve many achievements with her friends, and develop the school's activities. Besides, in the family, Han is a filial child, an exemplary sister, she spends a lot of time guiding her younger brother to study and do housework.
With her efforts, Gia Han has achieved many successes in her studies and competitions. This year in grade 7, she won second prize in the national grade 7 English Olympiad on the Internet, along with awards for good grades, sports and physical education... She is a worthy example for her schoolmates and peers to learn from and follow./.
