Sponsors and local authorities cut the ribbon to inaugurate Phuc Dien Bridge 58.

The “Phuc Dien 58” bridge was built in Hamlet 5 and Hamlet 6, with a length of 22 m, width of 2 m, total cost of 96 million VND. The project was funded by Venerable Thich Duc Dung, Standing Member of the Central Committee for Social Charity and Education - Vietnam Buddhist Sangha .

On the same day, the delegation handed over the charity house to Mr. Doan Van Bien (Hamlet 6). The house was built with basic construction, tiled floor, and iron walls, worth 90 million VND; of which Ms. Pham Hong Nhien, a Vietnamese expatriate in Taiwan, supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.

In particular, Ms. Pham Hong Nhien's family (Hamlet 7) also gave 350 gifts to the poor (each gift contains 20 kg of rice) and 20 scholarships to students in special circumstances (500,000 VND/scholarship).

U Minh Commune People's Committee awarded a certificate of golden heart to the sponsor.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of U Minh commune awarded the Golden Heart Certificate to Venerable Thich Duc Dung and Ms. Pham Hong Nhien to acknowledge their concern, practical support, and contribution to the locality in taking care of people's lives.
