At the program, 70 scholarships and gifts were awarded to poor and excellent students in hamlets. Of these, 10 scholarships worth 2 million VND each were for students from poor households; the remaining 60 scholarships, each worth nearly 1 million VND, were for students in difficult circumstances. The total cost was nearly 80 million VND, mobilized from businesses and benefactors in and outside the province. These gifts not only provide practical material support, but also serve as a source of spiritual encouragement for the students to be more confident and determined to go to school.

This year’s program is even more meaningful as it takes place in the context of Hoa Binh commune having just completed the administrative unit merger. For poor students, the path to education is still full of hardships, so each scholarship and each sincere word of encouragement is a great source of encouragement for them to strive to excel.

On this occasion, the Commune Youth Union also presented a gratitude plaque to the sponsors.

“Supporting students to school” has become an annual activity, a meeting place for local youth to show their love for poor but studious students. The program not only helps to share difficulties, but also contributes to lighting up the dream of going to school, giving them more confidence and determination on their journey of learning and progressing in life.
