Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan gave a speech directing the preparation for the inauguration ceremony of Tan Bang Secondary and High School.

At the meeting, the Ca Mau Traffic Construction Project Management Board reported on the overall implementation status of the project items. Up to now, the items have been basically completed, ensuring quality according to the design and technical requirements, and are eligible to implement the next steps according to regulations.

Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Nguyen said that the inauguration ceremony and the recognition of national standards are important milestones, affirming the completion and putting into use of a modern educational facility, contributing to creating a new look for the school, improving the quality of teaching and learning in the locality in particular and the whole province of Ca Mau in general, while promoting the development of human resources and comprehensive education quality in the region.

In his speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan requested the investor and the Department of Construction to promptly organize the acceptance of the project in accordance with regulations; at the same time, fully prepare the necessary conditions for the handover and inauguration ceremony on September 4, creating conditions for teachers and students of Tan Bang Secondary and High School to start the new school year 2025-2026 in a spacious and modern school. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to inspect and recognize the school as meeting national standards if it meets the prescribed conditions.

Tan Bang Secondary and High School was established in 2021 on the basis of merging Tan Bang High School and Le Hoang Tha Secondary School. For 10 consecutive years, the school's high school graduation rate has always reached 100%. However, the facilities are still limited: there are only 18 theory classrooms, 3 laboratories, 2 computer rooms and a number of other functional rooms, not enough to meet the teaching and learning needs as well as the criteria of a national standard school. Many items are degraded, affecting the quality of education.

To meet national standards, the school needs to invest in 10 new classrooms, build fences, roofs, and stages; level the ground, repair 20 classrooms, and add practice rooms and laboratory equipment.

From that reality, thanks to the advocacy of Ca Mau Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai, former Standing Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi (currently Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee) and the support of Mr. Bui Manh Hung, Chairman of the Founding Council of City Real Estate Investment Company Limited (CITYLAND GROUP), Thien Nhan Association of Ho Chi Minh City sponsored 20 billion VND to build and complete basic items, ensuring the standards for recognition of Tan Bang Secondary and High School as meeting national standards.
