The program was organized by the Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - India Friendship Association of Da Nang City in coordination with the Embassy of India in Vietnam. The event was to respond to and celebrate the 11th International Yoga Day (June 21, 2015 - June 21, 2025).
At the same time, the program contributes to strengthening the friendship and cooperation, cultural exchange between the Vietnamese people in general, the people of Da Nang city in particular, with the people of India and other countries.
Thereby spreading the message "Yoga - For one world , one common health", improving physical and mental health, bringing a happy life to everyone.

The program attracted more than 1,000 members from 52 yoga centers and clubs and yoga lovers in Da Nang City and neighboring provinces; yoga experts and trainers from India; tourists and international friends who love yoga and are living, working and studying in the city.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City - said: "The event not only contributes to strengthening solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Da Nang and localities and partners of India; introducing Indian cultural values in yoga to the people of Da Nang city, but also has significance in encouraging physical exercise and improving people's health.
At the same time, it contributes to bringing the image of the city and people of Da Nang, friendly and integrated, closer to domestic and international friends."

The program began with a traditional Indian lamp lighting ceremony, with the meaning of the flame being the embodiment of brilliant brilliance to dispel the darkness as the flame is lit up at night.
After that, participants will practice Indian yoga protocols and perform a yoga performance to the song "Hello Vietnam" with soft, graceful movements.
As a yoga lover and practitioner for more than 8 years, Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Tien (29 years old, residing in Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city) felt excited to participate in the Da Nang international yoga performance program.
"The program is an opportunity for yoga lovers to share and spread the message of practicing health for a peaceful life, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for us to exchange and connect with Indian yoga instructors and other students in the city," said Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Tien.
