The Department of Education and Training has announced important milestones after the 10th grade entrance exam. Accordingly, the 10th grade exam marking officially begins on June 11 and ends on June 16.
According to the city's Department of Education and Training, from June 18 to 20, the exam board will review and compare the exam results with the results on the computer. From June 21 to 22: Synchronize exam results to the industry's database. From June 23 to 26: Expected to announce exam scores and grade 10 benchmark scores.

Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in the 2025-2026 school year, 115 public high schools in the city will enroll 70,070 students, compared to 76,435 candidates registered for the exam. This year's 10th grade entrance exam decreased by 27,330 students compared to last year. Although the 10th grade enrollment target has increased significantly, it is expected that more than 6,000 candidates will leave the race for public 10th grade places.
Mr. Ho Tan Minh informed that nearly 3,000 cadres, teachers and staff were mobilized to participate in marking the exam.
Previously, at the end of the exam, the exam questions for all three subjects (literature, foreign language and math) were assessed to be suitable for the orientation of testing capacity and practical application capacity, not causing psychological shock to students, but still having good classification. The average score of all three subjects is expected to be high, accordingly, the standard score is also expected to fluctuate in a slightly upward direction.
