"Golden Hands" competition for rubber latex harvesting

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the participating teams.

The contest had 15 contestants selected from more than 700 workers and laborers from 3 units: Dien Bien Rubber Plantation, Muong Cha Rubber Plantation and Tuan Giao Rubber Plantation.

Each candidate participates in 3 exam contents, including: Theory, preparing tools and tapping latex on 100 rubber trees in the garden. The maximum time for tapping latex on 100 rubber trees is 19 minutes.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Tam, General Director of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company affirmed: The contest is an opportunity for workers and laborers to exchange and learn experiences. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the company to evaluate and test the skills of workers. Through the contest, the company will select workers with solid theory and good practice to continue to train and expand the core in the field of latex tapping, contributing to the successful completion of the output and production and business efficiency targets set by the company.

The Organizing Committee of the contest awarded the "Golden Hand" prize to worker Lo Van Thiep, Na Sang 1 team, Muong Cha Rubber Plantation.

With a spirit of fairness and objectivity, the Organizing Committee of the contest awarded the "Golden Hand" prize to worker Lo Van Thiep from Na Sang 1 team of Muong Cha Rubber Plantation; awarded the Grandmaster prize to 3 contestants and many other prizes to honor individuals and groups.

Candidates who won the "Golden Hand" and Grandmaster prizes in the Dien Bien rubber tapping competition will continue to be trained to participate in the "Golden Hand" competition organized by the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group in early December.
