Attending the workshop were Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Tien - Vice Principal of the school, Mr. Tran Duc Minh - Vice Principal, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Tuan - Permanent Deputy Head of Organization - Personnel Department, MSc. Nguyen Manh Khang - Deputy Chief of Office in charge of the office, MSc. Nguyen Van Long - Permanent Deputy Director of the Communication Center, representatives of the training departments: Economic Law, Business Administration, Training Management.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Can, Head of the Faculty of Economics, Hanoi University of Business and Technology, delivered the opening speech at the Workshop.
On the side of the Faculty of Economics, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Can - Head of the Faculty of Economics, Vice Heads of the Faculty and lecturers in the Faculty, students of K26, 27 majoring in Economic Management.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Van Can - Head of the Faculty of Economics, said that the scientific workshop "Industrialization and modernization in the new context" organized by Hanoi University of Business and Technology today is a scientific forum for exchange, contributing a common voice to assess the situation, propose solutions in certain fields and aspects of the industrialization and modernization process, with the desire to contribute a small part to the cause of national innovation.
Overview of the Scientific Conference on Industrialization and Modernization in the New Context.
Industrialization and modernization are also important contents in the undergraduate and master training program at Hanoi University of Business and Technology, so the Workshop is a good opportunity for lecturers, students, graduate students and postgraduates to listen, thoroughly understand and absorb the Party and State's guidelines and policies on industrialization and modernization in the new context.
The conference received a total of 24 presentations from lecturers and researchers from universities, academies, research institutes and practical agencies. This proves that the conference topic is an issue of great concern to society in the current context.
The paper on the current state of the digital economy in Vietnam and trends was presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Quang Tuan, former Director of the Vietnam Economic Institute.
The workshop focused on 10 main issues: Theoretical and practical issues on Industrialization and Modernization in the new context; Impacts and achievements of the fourth industrial revolution in the world and Vietnam; Digital economy and digital transformation issues in Vietnam; Trends in smart agricultural development in the world and Vietnam;
Clarifying the new international context affecting Industrialization and Modernization; Industrialization and Modernization in other countries and lessons learned for Vietnam; Forecasting the trend of Industrialization and Modernization in the world and Vietnam in the coming time; Solutions to promote Industrialization and Modernization in Vietnam; Human resources for Industrialization and Modernization in Vietnam in the coming time; Issues of promoting internal resources and taking advantage of external resources in the process of Industrialization and Modernization.
At the end of the Scientific Conference, representatives took souvenir photos.
At the workshop, there were 4 presentations including: Presentation on the content, characteristics and manifestations of industrialization and modernization in the new context presented by Associate Professor, Dr. An Nhu Hai - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
Presentation on Building and developing smart agriculture in Vietnam presented by Dr. Nguyen Nam Giang, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Presentation on Industrialization and modernization on the basis of science, technology and innovation presented by Dr. Tran Thi Van Anh, Faculty of Economics, Hanoi University of Business and Technology.
The workshop listened to some constructive comments on the presentations. The presentations were elaborate and quite comprehensive in both theory and practice on industrialization and modernization in the new context, from which lessons were drawn for Vietnam.
The content of the presentations also objectively assessed the current state of industrialization and modernization in the new context in Vietnam in recent times. Thereby, presenting orientations and solutions to promote industrialization and modernization in the new context in Vietnam in the coming time.
