Attending the conference were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the conference, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee announced important decisions, including: Establishing the Gia Lai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term, recognizing positions in the Standing Committee and recognizing members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province consists of 10 members and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province consists of 118 members. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2024-2029 term.
The conference also approved the draft working regulations of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term. The regulations are built in a flexible and specific direction, especially promoting the coordination role between the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations in monitoring, social criticism, caring for people's lives and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
The draft of the key work program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the last 6 months of 2025 was also approved. In particular, the key tasks include: Promoting the propaganda of the policy of arranging two-level administrative units; coordinating the organization of activities to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; improving the quality of supervision, social criticism, Party and government building; innovating the operation methods of the Front and socio -political organizations, improving the quality of cadres of the Front and socio-political organizations at all levels, especially at the commune and residential area levels.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized the core role of the Front in the great national unity bloc. He praised the positive results in the first 6 months of 2025, especially the consolidation of the organization and apparatus of the Gia Lai Provincial Fatherland Front after the merger.
To promote its important role, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung requested the Fatherland Front at all levels to focus on key tasks: closely following the Party's policy on great national unity, carefully preparing for the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; innovating working methods, being close to the people, close to the grassroots, enhancing people's trust, especially grasping their aspirations after the administrative unit rearrangement and fighting against bad and toxic information.
In addition, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung requested to continue focusing on social security and mass mobilization work; effectively carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, especially the movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", promoting the self-management role of the people, aiming to build "Unite, prosperous and happy residential areas". Improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, especially issues directly related to the interests of the people, actively prevent and combat corruption.
At the same time, collect people's opinions on the draft documents of the Party Congresses at all levels and prepare for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Ensure facilities, digital transformation and capacity building for the Front's staff. The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his belief that the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility and dedication to the cause of great solidarity and the rapid and sustainable development of the province.
