Recorded on November 18 at Van Thanh flower village (the largest rose growing area in Da Lat), flower prices continuously increased.

Here, cut roses cost from the garden at 3,000 - 6,500 VND/branch, of which red roses cost the most, at 5,500 - 6,500 VND/branch (nearly 3 times higher than 2 weeks ago).

The prices of other colored roses such as chocolate pink, cappuccino pink, smoky gray pink, peach orange pink... also increased, ranging from 3,000 - 5,000 VND/branch.

According to some rose purchasing warehouse owners, the November 20 sale will end on the afternoon of November 18. The current price has leveled off. However, the price of roses has increased sharply in the period from November 10 to 16.

Flower buyers in Ho Chi Minh City continuously place orders at increasingly higher prices every day, with a daily price difference of about 200-500 VND. The prices of flowers and auxiliary materials have also increased slightly compared to early November.

Lac Duong district is the second largest rose growing area after Da Lat. The price of roses here has also increased 2-3 times compared to 10 days ago. Traders here order roses from 3,000 - 5,000 VND/branch.

According to the People's Committee of Da Lat City, the locality has about 400 hectares of roses and other flowers. Currently, roses are grown in large quantities in Van Thanh flower village. The neighboring area of Da Lat is Lac Duong district, with an area of about 300 hectares of roses, concentrated in the foothills of Langbiang Mountain.

According to records on October 19, the demand for flowers to give as gifts on Vietnamese Women's Day in Ho Chi Minh City is relatively slow, many flower shops even do not dare to import more goods due to fear of unsold products, and the price of roses has decreased slightly.
