Vietnamese people often say:
“It is better to have a father and a mother,
"Without father or mother, like a broken string."
Indeed, parents are the shore of love, the strong roots for children to grow up and confidently step out into the world. A happy home is the most peaceful place to return to, soothing all the hardships after the storms of society. Family is not only a place to gather and live together, but more importantly, it is the first school to form personality, sow moral seeds and cultivate love.
Family happiness does not come naturally. It is cultivated every day with love, patience and responsibility of all members. Parents set an example of a kind, faithful and patient lifestyle. Grandparents are the traditional shade, teaching their children to preserve good values. Children must respect their elders, be filial, share work and contribute to keeping the family warm.
In modern life, many families face challenges: Parents are busy, children are addicted to phones, social networks... At this time, what is more necessary than ever is listening and sharing. Just a question, a full meal for everyone in the family, a look of understanding is enough to strengthen family ties. As Uncle Ho advised: "Family is the cell of society, the nucleus of the community".
For a society to prosper, it first needs happy, prosperous families. True happiness begins with simple things: a family meal, words of encouragement in times of trouble, laughter over a cup of tea late at night. Children who grow up in love will know how to love, share, and spread good values to the community. A husband who shares housework, an understanding wife, and filial children - that is the "formula" for a strong family.
Many people have said: "A happy family is not a family without storms, but a family that knows how to hold hands to overcome storms." That is also the spirit of love and responsibility that each member needs to remind themselves every day. Maintaining family happiness is a responsibility but also the greatest joy in life. When we give love, we also receive peace and warmth for our souls.
Let's start with the smallest things like: greeting each other every morning, sending each other a wish for peace, eating dinner together, sharing joys and sorrows. Let's preserve, cultivate and spread that happiness together, so that every Vietnamese home will always be a cradle of lasting love for today and tomorrow.
