Accordingly, the new route will operate with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; expected to increase to 4 flights/week from November 2025.
Flights are operated by Airbus A321 aircraft with a total of 199 seats, including 12 business class seats.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that Philippine Airlines' launch of flights to Da Nang took place on the very first day the city officially operated with an expanded geographical space and ecosystem of tourism products and services.

“We are determined to continue diversifying our markets, including the market near Southeast Asia, through promotional and advertising programs – especially focusing on attracting airlines to open more routes to the city. The operation of the new route by Philippine Airlines has increased the total number of flights between Manila and Da Nang to 12 flights/week, contributing to increasing the exchange of passengers between the two cities,” said Ms. Hoai An.
Sharing about the event, according to Mr. Richard Nuttall, President of Philippine Airlines, passengers from the Central region of Vietnam will have the opportunity to experience the typical hospitality of the Philippines as well as convenient connections to other cities and resort islands in the Philippines, the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan.
According to the Da Nang City Statistics Office, in 2024, the city welcomed more than 65,000 visitors from the Philippines. In the first 5 months of 2025 alone, this number reached more than 49,000, 2.26 times higher than the same period last year.
