Hai Phong leads 5 cities directly under the Central Government in patriotic emulation movement

On January 10, Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, attended the Conference to implement the Resolution of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and People's Council on the tasks of socio -economic development, national defense and security of the city in 2024 and awarded the Government's Emulation Flag and the Third-class Labor Medal to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

Accordingly, the VicePresident awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to Hai Phong City, the leading unit in the patriotic emulation movement in 2023 of the Emulation Cluster of 5 Central Cities, and the Third-class Labor Medal to Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung for his outstanding achievements in leading and directing the emulation movement "Increasing local budget revenue" in the period 2018 - 2022 of the city.

Members of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee with many achievements in the emulation movement "Increasing local budget revenue" in the period of 2018 - 2022 of the city were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, including: Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap; Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan; Secretary of the Hong Bang District Party Committee Le Ngoc Tru and Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board Le Trung Kien.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City announced the results and rankings of the 2023 Business Confidence Index (DDCI). Accordingly, the leading department, agency, and sector is the Department of Culture and Sports, up 3 places compared to 2022; the bottom of the list is the Department of Construction, down 1 place. At the local level, the People's Committee of Hong Bang District ranked first, up 3 places; the bottom of the list is Kien Thuy District, down 2 places compared to 2022.

Regarding the results of the 2023 administrative reform index assessment: The Department of Transport continues to maintain its leading position in the department and sector block; the bottom position is the Department of Construction. In the district block, Hong Bang District ranked first and Bach Long Vi District ranked last.
