Two dresses by Vietnamese designers help two international beauty queens win consecutive crowns

(Dan Tri) - In two consecutive days, two beauties wearing costumes designed by designer Song Toan won the highest titles at world beauty contests.

On August 16 (local time), the Miss World Gibraltar final ended with the highest position belonging to the beauty Julia Horne.

In the final night, Julia Horne appeared in a tight-fitting bronze-gold evening gown, helping the 25-year-old beauty show off her sexy curves, receiving many compliments from the audience.

Miss Julia Hornee shared that the dress she wore was given to her by her sister. Before the final round, Julia's sister suddenly passed away. To remember her beloved sister, Julia Hornee personally pinned a red heart to her dress, bringing love and nostalgia to the moment of her coronation.

Notably, this dress comes from two Vietnamese designers, Pham Si Toan and Huynh Bao Toan (Song Toan). Coincidentally, at the Miss Universe India pageant held on the evening of August 18 (local time), the winning contestant, Manika Vishwakarma, also wore an outfit designed by Song Toan.

The design features cut-out accents, helping Manika Vishwakarma show off her body beauty and confidence.

The fact that Vietnamese designers’ costumes have consecutively helped two international beauties win the crown has attracted the attention of the beauty fan community. Domestic audiences believe that this is a good sign when Vietnamese designers are increasingly spreading their talents and gaining a foothold in world beauty contests.

Designer Song Toan said that both Julia Horne and Manika Vishwakarma's outfits have in common the sophistication in choosing materials and meticulous embellishment techniques. When making them, he aimed for a modern, luxurious style.

Song Toan (Pham Si Toan - Huynh Bao Toan) is one of the young designers in the Vietnamese fashion industry. The costumes he creates are often trusted by domestic and international beauties for important events.
