Container shells are made from SPA-H grade hot-rolled steel, a weather-resistant steel specialized in the container industry. This source of raw materials is directly supplied from the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex, helping Hoa Phat proactively control quality and maintain stable production progress.
Hoa Phat's container factory is operating phase one with a capacity of 200,000 TEU per year, focusing on the production of 20 and 40 feet standard dry containers. After the entire project is completed, the designed capacity will reach 500,000 TEU per year. With its current scale, Hoa Phat is the largest container manufacturer in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Besides CMA CGM, Hoa Phat has been supplying containers to many shipping lines and large logistics enterprises. The implemented orders all ensure technical requirements, are strictly inspected and serve well for actual exploitation activities.
