Ngoc Son Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative, Minh Ngoc Commune is one of the leading units in the production and processing of OCOP products. In particular, the Cooperative's turmeric starch product has been certified to meet 4-star standards.

Turmeric starch has many uses: Beautifying the skin; solving problems related to the digestive system such as: Indigestion, diarrhea, bloating, stomach pain, stomach bleeding; helping to strengthen the body's immune system...

To ensure product quality, the Cooperative invests in machinery and improves production processes. Up to now, the Cooperative has formed a closed chain from raw material areas, preliminary processing, drying, filtering, grinding and packaging. The Cooperative also plays a role in linking raw material areas with more than 100 households in communes such as Minh Ngoc, Yen Dinh, Yen Phong, Minh Son... Households are provided with seeds, fertilizers, instructions on planting techniques and committed to purchasing output at higher prices than the market. This companionship has helped turmeric gradually become the main crop in many households.

Not only conquering domestic consumers, since June 2021, within the cooperation program between Ngoc Son General Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative and export enterprises, the unit's turmeric starch products have been exported.
