Professional units and local police have proactively grasped the local situation, increased patrols and controls, especially at night and in key areas of security and order. Many criminal cases have been discovered and investigated quickly. Typically: At 8:30 a.m. on May 28, 2025, at the Modun workshop, Area A of Jinko Solar II Industrial Co., Ltd. (Song Khoai Industrial Park), 10 new copper coils, worth about 70 million VND, were stolen. The incident seriously affected the production activities and internal security of the enterprise.
Upon receiving the information, the Office of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency (CSDT) took the lead in investigating and pursuing the case. In less than 2 hours, the authorities identified and clarified the perpetrator as Vu Nho Thoai (born in 1993), a material worker at the MODUN production warehouse of Jinko Solar I. The next steps of the proceedings are being carried out in accordance with the law.
Recognizing the sense of responsibility and the quick investigation, Jinko Solar Industrial Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) sent a thank you letter to the Office of the Provincial Police Department, highly appreciating the leading and core role of the police force in protecting economic security and maintaining stable production. The company affirmed that the provincial police are always a reliable support, contributing to building a safe and transparent investment environment for foreign investors.
Not only resolutely fighting against all types of crimes and law violations in the criminal field, the Provincial Police continue to implement specialized plans to fight against drug crimes, especially at key routes and locations such as borders, seaports, industrial parks and complex residential areas. Many drug trafficking and transportation lines have been dismantled, subjects have been arrested, and large quantities of evidence have been seized. At the same time, coordination with the Procuracy and People's Courts at all levels has also been promoted to bring drug cases to trial promptly, increasing the effectiveness of deterrence against criminals as well as affirming the strictness of the law.
Since the beginning of 2025, the provincial police force has arrested and handled 301 cases/753 drug-related criminals, seized over 13,200 grams of heroin, over 980 grams of synthetic drugs, and many related exhibits. Of which, 299 cases/596 criminals have been criminally prosecuted.
In addition to investigating and quickly handling cases, the police force of Quang Ninh province also increased patrols and closed areas, especially at night, when criminals often take advantage of their activities, thereby promptly detecting and preventing many violations of the law, as well as quickly investigating and arresting suspects, keeping peace for the people.
Recently, on June 1, while patrolling the old Minh Thanh ward (now Dong Mai ward), the ward police working group discovered and caught Vu Van Truong (born in 1998) breaking into a house in Dong Linh aquaculture area to steal 3-phase electric wires. Notably, this subject is currently serving a suspended sentence. The provincial police have initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and issued a temporary detention order for Truong.
Then, at 00:30 on June 20, 2025, the police force of Phong Coc and Nam Hoa wards (old) verified and quickly investigated the theft of worship items that occurred at a resident's house in Zone 3, Nam Hoa ward (old). While patrolling the area, the police discovered that Le Duc Tuan (residing in Ha An ward) was acting suspiciously. During an administrative check, the working group discovered that the subject was carrying a metal bar used to break the lock. Tuan confessed to all his crimes and showed where the evidence was hidden. The provincial police have issued a decision to temporarily detain him and continue to investigate further.
The synchronous implementation of professional measures, including regular patrolling and strict control of the area, has brought about clear results in preventing, detecting and handling crimes early, from a distance, and from the grassroots. This is an important factor in maintaining security and order, contributing to protecting the property and lives of people and businesses.
