There has been no major damage caused by the storm in all 54 communes, wards and special zones in the province. Currently, strong winds have caused some trees along the road to fall, some roofs and billboards to be damaged and fall across the road, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents and hindering emergency response efforts.
From 4:00 a.m., the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) urgently deployed all working groups and vehicles, divided into many teams to coordinate with functional forces to organize patrols, conduct field surveys and handle unsafe areas and participate in cleaning up fallen trees, ensuring traffic and safety for people.
By this morning, the force had promptly handled dozens of locations with fallen trees and broken branches, clearing major traffic routes, especially in inner-city areas, densely populated residential areas, schools, hospitals and routes serving rescue and relief work.
The rain and wind also caused power outages in some communes and wards. Due to the complicated weather, the power management team was unable to move to inspect, isolate and fix the problem on the power grid last night.
In some places, there were also minor landslides. Authorities have cordoned off the area, set up warning ropes, and cleared the roadway to allow traffic.
Currently, communes and wards are still proactively and synchronously implementing solutions to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 in the spirit of "3 before, 4 on-site", absolutely not being negligent, subjective, or losing vigilance against natural disasters.
