Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Trinh (Thu Thua commune, Tay Ninh province) excitedly prepared the red flag with yellow star before the parade.
Although they could not be present at the historical point, for young people, this was a long-awaited moment. Since the event was announced, many people have shared information and images about the holiday on social networks. Many expressed their desire to witness the grandeur of the parade, marching as a symbol of national spirit.
Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Trinh (Thu Thua commune, Tay Ninh province) shared: “My friends and I made an appointment to watch the event live on a big screen at a coffee shop. Although we cannot go to Hanoi, I believe the feeling of pride is still complete. This is an opportunity for my friends and I to understand more deeply the meaning of National Day and to be more grateful for the sacrifices of previous generations so that we can enjoy peace today.”
Ms. Le My Duyen (Thanh Loi commune) watched the parade at her rented room.
Not only watching to feel the grandeur, many young people also want to turn this moment into a memory with their family. Mr. Tran Huynh Nam (Ben Luc commune, Tay Ninh province) said: “From early morning, I turned on the TV to watch with my family. For many days, my family and I have been excited to watch videos recorded by people who came directly to the parade and marching place. Even though I am far away, I can still feel the love for my homeland and country spreading everywhere.”
Due to work, on this occasion, Ms. Le My Duyen (Thanh Loi commune, Tay Ninh province) had to stay in her rented room alone. She shared: “This morning, I turned on my computer to watch the parade online in my rented room. Although I watched alone, when I saw the image of the parade marching through Ba Dinh Square with the cheers of the people, I felt like I was with millions of people across the country sharing the same sacred and proud atmosphere.”
These days, red flags with yellow stars are flying everywhere.
Thanks to modern technology, geographical distance is no longer an obstacle. Although more than 1,000km away, images of the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 still spread, connecting millions of hearts in the South to the people in Hanoi.
The enthusiasm of young people for A80 shows that patriotism is not only expressed in the presence at the square but also in following and joining the atmosphere with the whole country at the important moment. After 80 years, that spirit of patriotism and national pride is still continued by the young generation, spreading strongly throughout the country./.
