The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, September 3, the weather in the North will be sunny during the day and showers in the evening. From Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.

From Quang Tri to Da Nang , showers and thunderstorms in some places, heavy rain in some places in the evening.

The South and other regions are cloudy, with moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may have tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

At sea, the sea area from Quang Ngai to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang , the Gulf of Thailand, the sea area east of the northern East Sea, the middle and southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) has scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind level 6-7, and waves over 2m high.

The offshore waters from Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong and the southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) have strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 1.5 - 3m high.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves.
