Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh signed Decision No. 90 approving the project to organize "Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day" (project).
According to the project, the exhibition theme is "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness". The Government directs the implementation of the project. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the standing unit.
The exhibition takes place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).
The exhibition content includes: introducing and displaying the outstanding achievements of the Country in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as: industry - technology; investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.
Introducing Vietnamese culture - Country - People with 4,000 years of cultural tradition; the rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country.
Introducing green industries and Vietnam's green transformation and digital transformation journey.
Introducing Vietnam's aviation and aerospace industry.
Introducing Vietnam's security and defense industry.
Introducing the spaces of countries that have particularly important diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
Introducing the space of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries.
About the exhibition form: Large panels, photos, drawings, documents, artifacts combined with 3D mapping projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audiovisual works, digital technology applications, AI...
Regarding the exhibition layout, the project clearly states that it will follow major content areas such as: General exhibition area; Green economic zone, clean energy and green industries; Aviation and space industrial zone; Security - defense industrial zone; International zone and 12 cultural industry zones.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with ministries, departments, branches and localities to draft documents and decisions as a basis for organizing the exhibition and submit them to the Head of the Steering Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for approval.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for developing a plan and presiding over the organization of the opening and closing ceremonies; presiding over or coordinating with relevant agencies and units to organize activities to serve visitors during the exhibition, including art performances, grand music festivals, traditional art performances, film screenings, conferences, seminars, and exchanges; ensuring the stage system, sound and lighting equipment to serve the series of art programs organized by provinces, cities, departments, ministries, and branches before and during the exhibition...
