Introducing the book series "Financial Education" for students

Author Le Thi Thuy Sen, who wrote the best-selling book “Being Smart with Money”, has released to young readers a book series on financial management for students called “Financial Education”.

This is a series of specialized books on School Finance, for students from grades 1 to 12 in Vietnam, in accordance with the 2018 General Education Program and standards on banking and financial knowledge in Vietnam and internationally.

The book series is published by Vietnam Education Publishing House in collaboration with Tan Viet Book Company.

The book set includes 12 books: "Understanding Money Correctly" for primary school, "Financial Thinking - Smart Learning" for middle school, and the books "Financial Thinking, Understanding Money - Avoiding Worry" (grade 10), "Financial Thinking - Financial Management - Creating the Future" (grade 11) and "Financial Intelligence - Self-Controlling the Future" (grade 12).

The primary school book group helps young readers form initial awareness of the value of money, reasonable spending, saving, loving work and sharing.

The Middle School book group equips readers with basic knowledge, customs and practices related to money, digital money, careers and income in the context of digital technology , and basic understanding of saving - spending - payment and investment.

The High School book group helps students gain a deep understanding of economics such as economic factors and the relationship between economic factors, the investment environment and factors affecting the investment environment, and understanding investment products such as bonds, stocks, fund certificates, deposit certificates, etc.

The book series provides basic financial knowledge, close to and related to daily life and forms better financial thinking for children. The content of the book focuses on basic issues of finance, currency, and banking.

The book series also helps children understand about money such as value, history of money, inflation, deflation, interest rates, exchange rates..., as well as activities, history of banks, taxes, gold, investment, startups...

The book series is built with a consistent approach of "Easy to remember - Easy to understand - Easy to absorb - Easy to apply", suitable for the age and cognitive level of high school students from grade 1 to grade 12, so teachers and students' families can easily access the book series as a learning material to teach their children financial knowledge.

The book has the participation of consulting and editing experts such as Dr. Le Xuan Nghia (member of the National Monetary Policy Advisory Council), Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh (Deputy Director in charge of the Banking Academy), Lawyer Truong Thanh Duc (lawyer specializing in economics, banking and finance, etc.), and Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh (Rector of the University of Economics and Law - Ho Chi Minh City National University).
