Gasoline prices drop across the board from 3:00 p.m. July 17 - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

The price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (July 17). The price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 170 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 289 VND/liter; the price of diesel oil decreased by 40 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 50 VND/liter, and fuel oil this period also decreased by 90 VND/liter compared to the previous period (July 10).

Prices of many petroleum products decreased from 3:00 p.m. on July 17, 2025.

The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (July 17). Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 170 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price will be 19,480 VND/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline will not be higher than 19,920 VND/liter, after being adjusted down by 289 VND/liter compared to the retail price from July 10.

Also from 3:00 p.m. on July 17, the price of 0.05S diesel oil will not be higher than 18,790 VND/liter (down 40 VND compared to the current retail price); Kerosene oil price will not be higher than 18,420 VND/liter (up 50 VND/liter compared to the current retail price). In this adjustment period, the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will decrease by 90 VND/liter compared to the previous period, the new selling price is 15,470 VND/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this operating period (from July 10 to July 17) is affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, new US tax policies issued by the US President for many countries, upcoming OPEC+ meeting on plans to increase supply... The above factors have caused world oil prices to decrease in recent days.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on July 10 and the adjustment period on July 17 was: 84.560 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 0.112 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.15%); 86.838 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.190 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.22%); 93.208 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 3.268 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 3.39%); 93.290 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil, up 4.836 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 4.93%); 489.698 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 5.800 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 1.17%).

This is the 28th time in 2025 that gasoline prices have been adjusted. Of which, RON95 gasoline has increased 14 times and decreased 14 times, E5RON92 has increased 14 times and decreased 14 times, diesel has increased 14 times, decreased 13 times and kept the price unchanged, and fuel oil has increased 15 times and decreased 13 times.
