Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Committee; former members of the Provincial Party Committee who are currently living in the province; Party Committee Secretaries, District Party Committees: Provincial Border Guard, Chu Se, Chu Pah, Dak Po, Duc Co, Ia Grai, Phu Thien, Kbang and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; leaders of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee and departments, branches, sectors, socio-political organizations of the province; members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: The Provincial Party Committee organized the conference to express gratitude for the contributions of comrades to the revolutionary cause and the construction and development of Gia Lai province over the past years. This is a special occasion, taking place at a very meaningful and important time, when our province is entering the preparation stage to end the 93-year historical journey of construction and growth to officially merge with Binh Dinh province, forming a new Gia Lai province.

Comrade Ho Van Nien also announced the results of administrative unit arrangement, province merger and implementation of the 2-level local government model to officially come into operation on July 1.

At the same time, it affirmed that the merger of the two provinces is not the end of a journey, but a new beginning - the beginning of strong and harmonious development between the highlands and the coast, between the strengths of agriculture , industry and services, between the depth of tradition and the aspirations of modernity.

After listening and absorbing the comments at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his hope that former provincial leaders would continue to accompany, share experiences, and contribute enthusiastic and responsible opinions to contribute to building a new Gia Lai province to develop quickly and sustainably in the coming time.
