On the eve of the new school year, the education sector has carefully prepared facilities, human resources and support policies. The province currently has 923 educational institutions with nearly 445,000 students. The Department of Education and Training has proposed to build and renovate 5 schools in border areas, with a total cost of more than 770 billion VND, including 2 key projects: the Inter-level Boarding School in Duc Nong and Mo Rai communes. Along with that, the Project on developing the teaching staff for the period 2026-2030 is also being developed to overcome the local surplus and shortage of teachers.
In many disadvantaged areas such as Ro Koi commune, students here are supported by the State with accommodation and study expenses. Thanks to the cooperation of teachers, village elders and local authorities, the rate of mobilizing 6-year-old children to attend school reached 100%.
The 2025-2026 school year also marks many new policies: free tuition for high school students, expanding universal preschool education for children aged 3-5, and strengthening decentralization to improve the quality of the teaching staff. Quang Ngai's education sector also promotes the application of digital technology , deploys electronic transcripts, electronic teacher records, and gradually applies artificial intelligence in teaching and management.
With the careful preparation of the education sector, the support of the whole society and the readiness of students, all are creating a hopeful start. This journey promises to bring positive changes, for the goal of improving the quality of comprehensive education in Quang Ngai province.
