(GLO)- On the morning of June 27, news from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province said that Gia Lai has 1 football team competing in the 2023 National 7-a-side Football Tournament organized by the Vietnam Football Federation and Viet Football Joint Stock Company.
That is Concrete 26 Club - the team that won the bronze medal in the Central Highlands region (DPL-S1) in the 2022 season. In the 2023 DPL-S2 season, Concrete 26 Club registered with 20 players to compete. The matches will take place at the football field of Tay Nguyen University (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) from the beginning of July 2023.

This season, DPL-S2 has 6 football teams from the provinces and cities of Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, and Da Nang competing, including: Concrete 26, Hieu Hoa-Quahaco, Hong Lac, OCB An Phu, Tay Nguyen SBC, and Dak Lak Lottery.
The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the regional rankings and award prizes. The two teams with the highest scores in the DPL-S2 will qualify for the national finals along with six representatives from the Northern and Southern regions.
