Arabica Coffee Price New York July 15, 2025

Below is the price information of Arabica coffee at the New York exchange in the recent trading session with the price remaining unchanged:

September 2025 futures remained unchanged at 287.80 cents/lb.

December 2025 futures remained unchanged at 282.10 cents/lb.

March 2026 futures remained unchanged at 276.55 cents/lb.

May 2026 futures remained unchanged at 271.40 cents/lb.

World coffee prices continued their downward trend after peaking in March 2025, recording the lowest level in more than a year.

On the London floor, the September 2025 robusta coffee futures contract ended last week at $3,216/ton, down nearly 39% compared to early May, equivalent to a loss of more than $2,000/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York floor, Arabica coffee futures for September 2025 also fell about 27% to 286.5 US cents/pound.

According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the main reason is the sharp increase in global supply, especially from Brazil and Indonesia when the new harvest season begins, along with the high export volume of robusta from Vietnam.

A report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts Brazil’s coffee output in the 2025-2026 crop year to reach around 65 million bags, up slightly by 0.5% from the previous crop year. Meanwhile, Vietnam’s coffee output is forecast to increase by nearly 7%, to a four-year high of around 1.85 million tons.

In addition, strong selling pressure from speculators on the floor, along with the appreciation of the USD against major currencies, also contributed to the decrease in coffee prices.

A report from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) shows that this year's coffee production has been revised up 4% compared to the previous forecast, reaching 57.5 million bags. Notably, robusta production has been raised to a record level, up more than 10% compared to the June estimate.

Favorable climatic conditions and investment in farming techniques and fertilizers have helped robusta grow strongly this year.

In Africa, the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA) has just announced the results of coffee exports in the last fiscal year with revenue reaching 2.6 billion USD, far exceeding the initial plan. Ethiopia is currently the leading coffee exporter in Africa and the third largest in the world in terms of coffee export volume.

Over the past five years, Ethiopia has planted more than 8.5 billion coffee seedlings and plans to plant more than 2 billion more during the current rainy season to boost coffee production and quality.
