On July 2, in Ho Chi Minh City, Informa Markets Vietnam officially opened the 21st International Exhibition on Precision Engineering and Manufacturing - MTA Vietnam 2025.
The exhibition brings together nearly 500 exhibitors (on a total area of 13,200m2 ) from more than 21 countries and territories such as: UK, Austria, India, Taiwan (China), Germany, Netherlands, Korea, USA, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Japan, France, Finland, Singapore, Thailand, Switzerland, China, Italy...
The exhibition portfolio at MTA Vietnam 2025 fully covers key areas such as: Metal cutting and shaping machines, sheet metal, casting and molding, welding technology, machining tools, cutting, automation technology, measurement, inspection, surface treatment, heat treatment, raw materials and many other supporting equipment and services.

Notably, the exhibition continues to deploy the specialized display area VINRA (Vietnam Industrial Robotics and Automation Event), where advanced robotics and automation solutions from leading brands converge.
This year, VINRA has upgraded its experience, with live equipment demonstrations, giving visitors a realistic and vivid view of the application of automation technology in modern production lines.
During the 4-day exhibition, MTA Vietnam 2025 will also host a series of seminars and thematic events focusing on key areas such as semiconductors, automation, precision measurement, manufacturing technology and supporting industries. These programs not only provide in-depth knowledge, but also serve as a platform for practical dialogue between businesses, experts and policy makers.
Speaking at the exhibition, Dr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association, said that Vietnam is in the process of industrialization. The role of the mechanical engineering industry, especially high-tech mechanical engineering, is very important and indispensable.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Government will add the strategic technology field of mechanical engineering to the list of strategic products.
“I appreciate the organizers of the exhibition on mechanical engineering, especially precision engineering, helping Vietnamese enterprises access the latest achievements in mechanical engineering, helping Vietnamese managers understand and recognize the role of mechanical engineering in the economy,” Dr. Nguyen Quan emphasized.
