Nearly 436 billion VND spent on health insurance payment

Since the beginning of the year, the province has had nearly 589 thousand people receiving health insurance at medical facilities. Of which, nearly 517 thousand people received outpatient treatment; over 70 thousand people received inpatient treatment. The amount of money the Health Insurance Fund has spent on medical examination and treatment is nearly 436 billion VND.

Along with that, the Health Insurance Fund has advanced over 5.3 billion VND to schools in the province to carry out the task of providing primary health care for students.

In order to improve the management of health insurance expenditures, the provincial Social Insurance conducts appraisals on cost data of units requesting payment. At the same time, it continues to coordinate with medical examination and treatment facilities to implement standards and formats of output data to serve the management, appraisal and payment of health insurance examination and treatment costs.
