According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, heavy rain and thunderstorms will occur in many areas across the country on the night of June 30 and July 1. Flood warnings are in place in Hanoi's inner city.
From the afternoon of June 30, Hanoi will have rain, some places will have moderate rain, heavy rain. In the next 3-6 hours, Hanoi's inner city and surrounding areas will continue to have heavy rain with common rainfall ranging from 20-50mm, some places over 70mm.
This rain is likely to cause flooding on many streets with a common depth of 15-20cm; some streets are likely to be flooded deeper with a depth of 20-40cm.
Traffic on deeply flooded streets will be affected, causing local congestion or many vehicles will have difficulty moving.

According to this dispatch, at 1:00 p.m. on June 30, the upstream water level of Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir was at 106.16m, the downstream water level was 55.28m, the flow to the reservoir was 1,440 m3/s, and the maximum flow to the downstream was 2,271 m3/s.

At the same time, closely monitor the developments of floods and rains, construction safety, flow to the lake, upstream and downstream water levels of the reservoir, and promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention and Control) and relevant agencies as prescribed./.
