Dancesport Festival 2025 is the first international dance sport tournament held in Vietnam under the permission of the Vietnam Sports Administration. The event is organized by the Vietnam Gymnastics Federation in collaboration with Khanh Thi - KTA King The Art.

For the first time in history, WDSF has awarded Vietnam the right to host 3 international tournaments at the same time: Southeast Asian Championship, Asian Championship, and especially the Asian Women's Solo Championship - also the first time this event has been recognized and included in the region's official competition system.
It is known that previously, the sport of dance sport was only ranked in Southeast Asia through the SEA Games every 2 years. Therefore, this is the first time that the World Dance Sport Federation has allowed Vietnam to host the Southeast Asian Championship, and from this tournament, it will award annual rankings in the region. This shows the historical nature of the sport in the Southeast Asian region.
Being selected to host unprecedented tournaments not only demonstrates the special trust from the World Federation, but also clearly demonstrates the organizational capacity and reputation of Vietnamese Dancesport on the international sports map.

Up to now, the tournament has recorded the participation of more than 36 countries and territories, with more than 4,000 registrations, 3,000 athletes and more than 100 international and national referees. This is considered the largest Dancesport event in the history of Southeast Asia.
At this major tournament, the dance sports team participated entirely with socialized funding. Notably, to ensure the best results for Vietnamese athletes, Coach Khanh Thi sponsored the cost of leading the team including the pairs: Phan Hien - Thu Huong, Ngoc An - To Uyen to train in Europe and participate in a number of international tournaments in the WDSF system to accumulate global ranking points. Specifically, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the team has participated in Dalian - Beijing, China (in January), in April in Malaysia, in May and June in Denmark, Germany.
Dance couple Phan Hien - Thu Huong are expected to be the owners of prestigious medals.
In addition, Coach Chi Anh is in charge of the Standard content, leading the team including athletes: Trung Thuc - Ngoc Anh, Minh Xuan, Gia Linh to China for intensive training.
The organization's funding is largely from socialization.
Although it is a very large-scale international tournament, Vietnam Dancesport Festival 2025 is funded largely from socialized sources to support the development of the domestic Dancesport community.
“I don’t organize the tournament for fame or profit. I organize it because Vietnamese Dancesport needs a real step forward – professional, methodical, and capable of connecting with the world” – Coach Khanh Thi shared.
I hope that the country's high-performance sports will have a better perspective and way of supporting top coaches and athletes to help them ensure achievements for the country's sports.
It can be said that Vietnam Dancesport Festival 2025 is not simply a tournament, but its meaning and influence will help Vietnamese Dancesport become more known to international friends. And affirm that Vietnam not only has talented athletes but also has the capacity to organize international standard events, gradually turning Vietnam into the leading Dancesport center in Southeast Asia.
