The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 157/KH-UBND on organizing the "Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025", aiming to honor, preserve and promote the values of the capital's cultural heritage; at the same time affirming Hanoi's position as a center of creative culture, an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.

With the theme “Heritage - Connection - Era”, the Festival will include many unique cultural and artistic activities such as: Heritage Festival; Heritage Connection Exhibition and Hanoi Puppetry Festival; Red River International Music Festival; “Heritage Connection” Masquerade Ball; Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival; art performances at many typical cultural spaces of the Capital.
A highlight of the Festival is the play “Thang Long Capital” using 3D Mapping technology, scheduled to be held at Doan Mon Square, hosted by the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over the overall implementation of the program, ensuring the content, script, progress and quality of the event.
At the same time, the Department will develop and implement effective domestic and international communication plans; coordinate with press agencies, digital platforms and grassroots information systems to promote the Festival.
The event contributes to promoting cultural cooperation between Hanoi and localities and countries, bringing cultural heritage into contemporary life, contributing to the sustainable development of the capital's cultural industry.
