As reported by Lao Cai newspaper, in the evening and night of June 9, Lao Cai city experienced showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rain flooded Thanh Nien Street through Duyen Hai Ward, causing difficulties for vehicles traveling through the area.
In particular, at 10 p.m., due to heavy rain and strong winds, two ancient tamarind trees on the sidewalk of Nhac Son Street, through Group 7, Coc Leu Ward, fell onto the road.
