Over the past 20 years, the friendly relationship between Thai Nguyen and Gyeongsangbuk-do has been continuously strengthened and developed in many fields. In particular, economic , trade and investment cooperation has always been identified as a pillar, bringing positive results.
Currently, Thai Nguyen is a strategic destination for many Korean investors, including large corporations such as Samsung, Dongwha, Hansol Electronics... Among more than 110 FDI projects from Korea being implemented in Thai Nguyen, many enterprises from Gyeongsangbuk-do province have been actively contributing to the local industrial and commercial development process.

The cooperative relationship between Thai Nguyen and Gyeongsangbuk-do not only brings practical benefits to the business community and people of the two provinces, but also contributes significantly to promoting the good relationship between the two countries and Vietnam's policy of deep international integration.
