The weightlifting team concluded its competition program at the 12th ASEAN Para Games with 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.

However, the two remaining main teams, athletics and swimming, are still accelerating, helping the Vietnamese team get closer to the performance target set before departure.

On the morning of June 7, the 4th official competition day of the Games, "swimmer" Trinh Thi Bich Nhu excellently won the gold medal with the results of 41 seconds 50 and 1 minute 51 seconds 77 in two times in the water in the 50m butterfly for disabled S6 and 100m breaststroke for women in the SB5 category.

Adding the gold medal in the women's 200m medley SM6 category won the day before, the veteran athlete currently playing for Ho Chi Minh City has completed a hat-trick of championships at the 12th ASEAN Para Games.

Not inferior to her teammates, "swimmer" Vi Thi Hang also won her third gold medal at this congress in the 100m breaststroke, SB6 category, with a time of 1 minute 51 seconds 41.
