The delegation visited the Kaifu Sou Special Care Facility for the Elderly in Saikai City and the Isahaya Chou Special Care Facility for the Elderly in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
These two facilities have 4 workers from Quang Nam who have worked from 7 months to more than 1 year. Representatives of these two facilities said that the workers here mainly take care of the elderly who have difficulty in daily activities. Along with many other workers, the 4 workers from Quang Nam are currently studying and doing jobs such as supporting meals, providing medical care, physical therapy, or improving mobility and daily activities, helping the elderly to have the best health and live happily.
According to these units, Quang Nam workers are hard-working, dynamic and actively improve their skills in caring for the elderly, and their Japanese speaking skills improve over time. Through discussions, workers here said that they work in a good, modern environment, with safe living conditions and accommodation, and actively connect with local units and the Vietnamese community studying and working in Japan to share and help each other in work and life.
During the visit to learn about the labor recruitment needs of establishments and enterprises in Nagasaki province, the Quang Nam delegation encouraged and presented gifts to 4 young workers from Quang Nam. At the same time, they directly surveyed the material conditions, working environment, and benefits and salary policies for workers working in Japan. From there, there will be proposals on appropriate policies in training human resources to work abroad for the Nagasaki provincial government and the province in the coming time.
