At this time, Son Hai Group Company Limited (Son Hai Group) is testing the lighting system installed in the right tunnel of Deo But tunnel, part of the Vung Ang - Bung expressway project.
The lighting system in the right tunnel of Deo But Tunnel has just been completed not long ago. Although there is no transformer station system and generators must be used, however, during the test run, the lighting in the tunnel operates stably.
Deo But Road Tunnel is part of the Vung Ang - Bung Expressway project, with a length of nearly 1km, with the northern tunnel entrance in Ky Lac Commune, Ky Anh District and the southern tunnel entrance in Ky Hoa Commune, Ky Anh Town. The tunnel is one of the critical items of the Vung Ang - Bung Expressway. The tunnel has a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND, designed with 2 tunnels, the left tunnel is 716m long, the right tunnel is 840m long, each tunnel is 15m wide, 8m high. The center of the left tunnel is 45m from the center of the right tunnel.
After nearly 2 years of implementation, despite having to construct in mountainous terrain with fragmented geology, drilling deep into the ground, and being affected by underground water, with many efforts, mobilizing human resources and modern machinery, the progress of Deo But tunnel has always been guaranteed by Son Hai Group.
Up to this point, the contractor has completed the pavement, mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection and tunnel lining coating.
The left tunnel has also poured 600m of concrete for the tunnel lining, and is reinforcing the roof at the southern tunnel entrance. The contractor aims to clear the left tunnel in the next few days.
According to the approved investment phase, the current phase only invests in the complete construction of 1 tunnel on the right, operating with 2 lanes in opposite directions, design speed of 80 km/h. The tunnel on the left only digs, reinforces the tunnel, completes the tunnel shell to protect the structure and makes a temporary road surface to be used as a rescue and escape tunnel, has not invested in the surface drainage system, electromechanical system, and has not served the exploitation. The appearance of the only road tunnel on the 107.28km North-South expressway through Ha Tinh has been formed.
The roads and bridges connecting to Deo But tunnel have also been basically completed.
