Proposal to support seafood export enterprises to the Russian market

Information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Tri province said that the department has just sent a document to the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development requesting support for enterprises exporting seafood to the Russian market for Ngoc Tuan Cua Tung One Member Co., Ltd., address An Hoa 1 quarter, Cua Tung town, Vinh Linh district.

According to the document of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in recent years, Ngoc Tuan Cua Tung Company Limited has been a leading enterprise in the production and export of seafood in Quang Tri province.

The results of inspection and supervision by the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development show that the food safety conditions of the enterprise have met the requirements of Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union. The enterprise has been updated and permitted to export to markets such as the EU, Korea, China and other markets.

In 2023, the company submitted documents and documents to the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development requesting registration for export to the Eurasian Economic Union. On July 18, 2023, the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development sent an official dispatch to Mr. Dankvert Sergey Alekseevich, Head of the Russian Federation's Animal and Plant Quarantine Service (FSVPS), requesting consideration and approval to add Ngoc Tuan Cua Tung LLC to the list of enterprises permitted to process and export seafood to the Eurasian Economic Union.

However, up to now, the company has not received any response from FSVPS. Currently, the company is in urgent need of exporting aquatic products to the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, including the Russian Federation, because it has signed export contracts with importers in this market.

In order to support enterprises exporting aquatic products, creating jobs for workers and developing aquatic product processing in the locality appropriately, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requests the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development to pay attention and promote the Representative Office of the Russian Federation to appraise and evaluate the food safety conditions of Ngoc Tuan Cua Tung Company Limited so that the facility is allowed to export products to the Russian Federation market.
