In the first 6 months of 2025, Tay Ninh province implemented 29 trade promotion plans with a total disbursement of nearly 2.7 billion VND. From this resource, the province supported 322 businesses to participate in fairs, exhibitions and trade connection activities at home and abroad.
Through trade promotion activities, many typical products of the province have the opportunity to expand their markets, build their brands and increase their competitiveness.

According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first half of 2025, support was approved for 3 units to build OCOP product introduction and sales points, with a total cost of about 500 million VND from the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.
The establishment of product introduction points is considered a practical step, contributing to expanding the coverage of typical goods in the retail system, while enhancing the image of local products in the eyes of consumers inside and outside the province.
Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Lan - owner of Chan Y brand (Tuyen Binh commune, Tay Ninh province) has built a chain of processed products from local raw materials, notably products from star fruit such as dried star fruit, star fruit soaked in sugar, etc.
Growing up in the river area, she chose the familiar star fruit to start her business, and so far has 9 products achieving 3-star OCOP at the provincial level.
After being recognized as an OCOP, I not only received support for labels to increase my reputation in the market, but also received advice from the relevant authorities on production lines and packaging improvements; and was given the opportunity to participate in many trade fairs and trade promotion events in and outside the province.
Each participation is a valuable opportunity to introduce products to new consumers, increase brand awareness, connect with more agents and expand the market. Thanks to that, the product is known to more people, Ms. Lan shared.
Ms. Lan participated in a trade promotion event held outside the province.
Not only limited to the domestic market, Ms. Lan's products are now available on many e-commerce platforms and are gradually conquering the export market with some orders reaching foreign consumers.
In the coming time, the Industry and Trade sector will continue to improve trade promotion activities in a modern and professional direction. Prioritizing support for key product groups, in line with the regional economic development orientation. At the same time, it will expand cooperation with domestic trade promotion agencies, international trade organizations, large distribution systems and reputable e-commerce platforms.
For the agricultural sector, the focus is on supporting brand building, developing geographical indications, registering trademarks, granting codes for growing areas, farming areas and standard packaging facilities, serving well for traceability, creating a premise to build an image of safe and quality agricultural products.
Along with that, it is necessary to promote the conversion of enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers to green and sustainable production models such as organic agriculture, high technology, and climate change adaptation. At the same time, it is necessary to support and promote digital transformation throughout the industry, from production to consumption.
When quality is emphasized, brand is affirmed and the market is increasingly expanded, local products will no longer be limited to the province but can reach far, conquering both domestic and international markets./.
