(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of July 15, the Provincial Military Party Committee (PPC) held a conference to issue a Resolution on leadership in implementing tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. Thoroughly grasping the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Military Region and the Provincial Party Committee; closely following the situation and task requirements, in the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Party Committee has focused on comprehensive leadership and direction, successfully completing assigned tasks. In particular, it has proactively coordinated and advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement local military and defense tasks, focusing on: Coordinating and advising the issuance of the Directive of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on leading the implementation of local defense and military work in 2025; The Provincial People's Council issued a resolution stipulating the level of labor day allowances for militia forces in the province; continue to implement the Project "Strengthening the organization and improving the quality of the militia and self-defense force of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2021-2025" and the Project "Improving the capacity to perform civil defense tasks and respond to natural disasters, search and rescue for local army forces, militia and self-defense forces, and reserve forces of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2021-2026"; select and hand over 3,652 citizens to join the army to ensure quality.

Based on the achieved results as well as closely following practical requirements, the delegates attending the conference discussed and clarified the advantages and difficulties in the process of performing assigned tasks and agreed to set out the general direction and goals for the last 6 months of 2025, which are: Continuing to lead the completion of goals, targets, and breakthroughs in 2025; organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Military Region's Armed Forces, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Provincial Armed Forces; successfully organizing the 15th Provincial Military Party Congress, term 2025-2030; focusing on directing merged and newly established agencies and units to operate in a disciplined, effective and efficient manner.

Improve the overall quality, level and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces; regularly coordinate to grasp the situation, advise on timely and effective handling of situations, contribute to maintaining political security, social order and safety, border security, create a stable environment for socio-economic development; build a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical".

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Command Nguyen Doan Anh basically agreed with the results achieved in the first 6 months of 2025 in all fields. At the same time, he pointed out the shortcomings and limitations related to the work of grasping the situation; quality of advice, coordination in performing tasks... and requested the Provincial Military Command to seriously absorb and have solutions to overcome them in the coming time.

In the last months of 2025, in addition to the tasks identified and specified in the draft resolution, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Command Nguyen Doan Anh requested that the resolution clearly assess the results and tasks set for border work; at the same time, review the targets set in the last months to focus on leadership and direction of implementation.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command to continue to coordinate in advising and directing the effective implementation of military, national defense and border tasks in 2025 to ensure consistency and good quality. Continue to focus on grasping the situation, promptly and effectively handling situations in accordance with the law, not being passive or surprised; focus on adjusting combat plans; build plans and political determination of units. At the same time, complete the military strategy planning and plan B in line with practical requirements.

The Provincial Party Secretary noted that in terms of Party building, it is necessary to focus on effectively implementing relevant resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations, and plans. In personnel work, it is necessary to strictly follow procedures and regulations; at the same time, do a good job of propaganda in preparation for the 15th Provincial Military Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Logistics work must be carried out in the spirit of thrift, publicity, democracy, and transparency of policies and regimes; ensuring the material and spiritual life of cadres and soldiers.

At the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh presented the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee approving the election results of the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Command for the 2020-2025 term to comrade Vu Van Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
