Now, Ngo Tu and his son have contributed to protecting the base and fighting the enemy, and deserve to be awarded the title of first-class meritorious subject."

Ngo Tu was allowed by Le Thai To to take the king's surname, changing it to Le Tu. Later, Le Thanh Tong bestowed upon him the title of Du Vuong, Dien Y Du Vuong, Chuong Khanh Cong, and allowed him to take back his surname Ngo.

Later, King Gia Long of the Nguyen Dynasty ascended the throne and selected the founding fathers of the six titles. The Le Dynasty selected 15 people. Ngo Tu was chosen to be in the second rank. A descendant of the eldest line was exempted from all taxes and duties and was in charge of the incense offerings at the ancestral temple.
