On the morning of June 7, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade held its 4th Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were comrade Phan Van Ban, member of the Standing Committee, full-time Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; comrade To Xuan Bao, Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Maintain ideological foundation, promote political mettle
At the Congress, Comrade Ngo Quang Long, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, presented a political report summarizing the implementation of the resolution of the Party Congress of the Ministry's Office for the 2020-2025 term; as well as the direction for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in implementing the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee on Party building and socio -economic development. The Party Committee of the Ministry's Office has always been united, joined hands and unified in effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the resolutions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
In the work of Party building, comrade Ngo Quang Long said that the entire Party Committee always adheres to Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, applying and developing them in accordance with the unit's reality. Regarding the work of Party building in terms of ideology, the Party Committee always innovates the content and methods of operation in the work of Party building in terms of ideology and organization, ensuring Party spirit, scientific nature, combativeness, practicality, timeliness and effectiveness. Focusing on improving the quality of propaganda, education and study of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought to raise awareness of the role, functions, tasks, powers and responsibilities of cadres and Party members...
In addition, regarding the work of organizing cadres, according to comrade Ngo Quang Long, the work of organizing cadres is a part of the work of party building, therefore the Party Committee has focused on improving the level of political theory, updating knowledge for cadres and party members, especially leaders and managers, associated with planning, appointment, re-appointment and job transfer.

“ The Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry Office consider the human factor as the key to the success of the unit. Every year, we arrange additional planning, planning for positions, sending cadres and party members to attend training courses, training, fostering political theory, and party work skills; strengthening education on qualities, capacity, ethics, and lifestyle for cadres and party members, especially leaders, cadres and party members who are planned for higher positions and titles, ” said comrade Ngo Quang Long.
Reporting on the results of leadership and coordination in implementing political tasks, comrade Ngo Quang Long said that during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee has developed working regulations and work programs for the Party Committee, assigned tasks to Party Committee members to monitor, direct and orient Party cells to perform well the professional work and political tasks of the Ministry's Office.
With the motto of solidarity, dynamism, creativity; closely following the leadership and direction of the Ministry's leaders and the Party Committee of the Ministry, together with the close coordination of the units under the Ministry, the Party Committee and all cadres, party members, civil servants and employees of the Ministry's Office have upheld the spirit of responsibility, overcome difficulties and challenges, implemented the Resolution of the 3rd Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office for the 2020-2025 term, achieving important and comprehensive results in all areas of work.

Regarding the direction of the 2025-2030 term, comrade Ngo Quang Long said that this is a term of special importance, associated with the 14th National Congress of the Party and many important political events of the country. The entire Party Committee will join hands to effectively implement Resolution 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the apparatus, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's development goals until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In the context of the international and domestic situation intertwined with advantages and challenges, the Party Committee of the Ministry Office will continue to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, focus on improving the political capacity of cadres and party members; affirm the role of the political nucleus in carrying out political tasks and Party building work.
At the same time, strive to complete the organization of the Party and its affiliated units in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner by 2025, contributing to building the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Industry and Trade sector firmly in the new era of development.
Proactively adapt and improve the effectiveness of party work
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Phan Van Ban, member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary in charge, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, commended and highly appreciated the achievements in all aspects of political and professional work of the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office during the past term.
“ The Party Committee of the Ministry Office has successfully completed the assigned political tasks, in the context of many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as personnel changes ,” emphasized comrade Phan Van Ban.

According to comrade Phan Van Ban, in the coming term, the world situation will be very complicated and unpredictable. Globalization and international integration continue to develop but face many difficulties and challenges. The scientific and industrial revolution and digital transformation are developing strongly, creating breakthroughs in many fields, bringing both opportunities and challenges to countries. In that context, it is recommended that the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, positivity, proactiveness, and creativity, focusing on improving the political capacity of cadres and party members, and the role of the political nucleus in implementing key Party building tasks.
Specifically, first, it is necessary to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of political and ideological education for cadres and party members. In particular, special attention should be paid to disseminating, thoroughly understanding and strictly implementing regulations, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Government Party Committee and the Ministry Party Committee.
Second, closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry, the Party Committee of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Minister and the leaders of the Ministry. Thereby, focus on leading the team of cadres, civil servants and party members to promote a sense of responsibility, uphold the pioneering spirit, set an example, unite and be determined to excellently complete the assigned political tasks.

Third, continue to innovate the content and form of Party Committee activities; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; promote the political core role of Party Committees, Party cells, and Party chapters in directing and effectively implementing the professional tasks of the Office.
Fourth, continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement regulations on inspection and supervision work; especially power control, anti-corruption and negativity, combined with strengthening internal political protection work, ensuring the purity and strength of the Party organization.

The entire Congress agreed that the general goal of the Office Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is to inherit and promote lessons learned from the past term and continue to well implement specific directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Office also elected the 4th Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 comrades: Comrade Khieu Ngoc Sang; Comrade Vu Dinh An; Comrade Pham Huy Cuong; Comrade Le Thi Hoang Lan; Comrade Luong Quang Hieu; Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Khanh; Comrade Pham Van Hung. Comrade Khieu Ngoc Sang, Chief of the Ministry's Office, was re-elected as Party Committee Secretary.
