In particular, the congress discussed and determined the direction, goals, tasks, and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term. Strive to coordinate and guide the implementation of military recruitment and military enrollment to meet the target; arrange reserve soldiers into reserve mobilization units at 98%, with 86% or more of military professionalism; inspect combat readiness and train reserve soldiers at 96% or more.

Complete 100% of military training and political education targets and tasks; 100% of inspection results meet requirements, with 75% or more being good or excellent; organize command-agency drills and coordinate and guide the organization of combat drills in defense areas for 18 communes and wards to achieve good or better, ensuring absolute safety. Every year, 100% of Party Committees and Party Committees (Standing Committees) are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks or better; of which 90% or more have completed their tasks well and excellently.

To successfully complete the set tasks and goals, the congress identified "3 breakthroughs", including: Breakthrough in improving the quality of training, combat readiness, and exercises to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Breakthrough in building a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, high responsibility, working effectively, and completing assigned tasks well.

In his speech, Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan emphasized that after the merger, Gia Lai province has a large, diverse and strongly divided terrain, including two specific regions: the Central Highlands mountains and forests in the West and the coastal plain in the East, with 134km of coastline and more than 80km of border adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Therefore, the tasks of the provincial armed forces in general and the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dak Po in particular are extremely heavy.
