In order to promote digital transformation in production and consumption of agricultural products and goods, the Farmers' Association of Quang Tri province has signed a cooperation agreement with the provincial Post Office on "Supporting farmers in digital transformation in production and consumption of agricultural products and goods in the period 2021-2025".

Up to now, information of 35,420 agricultural production households has been collected on the e-commerce platform buudien.vn. On the e-commerce platform buudien.vn, there are currently 60 booths with 350 agricultural products of more than 70 suppliers in the province connected by the Farmers' Association, mainly agricultural products, OCOP products that meet quality standards. On the other hand, 10 safe agricultural product booths have been opened to sell products to farmers in the provincial and district postal systems.
In addition, farmers' associations at all levels have coordinated to propagate and mobilize farmers to raise awareness of the benefits of building product brands and trademarks; implementing the "6-house" linkage to help products access and meet OCOP product standards. At the same time, farmers are organized to participate in agricultural fairs organized by the Central Vietnam Farmers' Association and events displaying safe agricultural products in the locality, contributing to helping members and farmers promote and link to consume products, thereby expanding production and business activities.
In particular, farmers' associations at all levels in the province have coordinated to organize scientific and technical training associated with digital technology application for over 75,000 members and farmers; coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology to deploy scientific tasks in agriculture, of which 2 topics and projects have been successfully implemented in Gio Linh and Huong Hoa districts.
