
During the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, people will have 4 days off (from August 30 to September 2), equivalent to the holiday in 2024. Da Nang is expected to welcome a significant increase in the number of tourists, exceeding that of 2024. The average room occupancy rate is estimated at 55-60%, of which 4-5 star accommodation establishments are expected to reach 60-70%.
During the period from August 29 to September 2, Da Nang International Airport is expected to receive about 730 flights (average frequency of 146 flights/day), an increase of 25.9% over the same period in 2024. Specifically, 436 domestic flights (up 35.4%, average 87 flights/day) and 294 international flights (up 14.8%, average 59 flights/day). Chu Lai International Airport will receive 34 domestic flights, equivalent to the same period in 2024.
During the 4-day holiday, many tourist areas and attractions in Da Nang are expected to welcome a large number of visitors, including: Sun World Ba Na Hills, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki, 365 VinWonders Nam Hoi An Water Park and Hoi An Ancient Town.
Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area offers preferential entrance tickets for Vietnamese tourists (VND350,000/child, VND550,000/adult) from August 30 to September 30. The tourist area also arranges priority passage for visitors wearing red flag with yellow star shirts (August 30 - September 2), organizes a mini concert "National Pride" (August 20 - September 10) and decorates the space with flags and flowers.
Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park (August 30 - September 2) organizes a ceremony to pray for peace and commemorate heroic martyrs; a parade of the God of Wealth with the 12 zodiac animals and a lucky draw.
Mikazuki 365 Water Park offers a 30% discount on weekday tickets for Da Nang residents, until September 4.
Da Nang Downtown brings a series of entertainment events Sunny Showcase (August 30), Random Dance (August 31 - September 1) and Mini concert Sac Buong Viet Nam (September 2).
Hoang Sa Exhibition House decorated the lobby into a check-in space with the theme of the Fatherland's sea and islands, exhibited the theme "Firm heart at the forefront" and organized a workshop on linking arms (August 18 - September 15).
Toom Sara Village (August 30 - September 2) organizes Co Tu show, afternoon music by the stream "A lifetime, a forest", experience making Co Tu dishes, planting forests, treasure hunting.
Hoi An Ancient Town (August 30 - September 2) will host craft village activities, traditional craft performances, traditional musical instrument concerts and folk songs.
