Hai Phong Tax Department holds online dialogue to support and answer questions about tax policies and regimes

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of August 16, the City Tax Department held an online conference to support and answer questions about tax policies and tax administrative procedures for taxpayers in the area. Director of the City Tax Department Nguyen Tien Truong chaired the conference. Attending the conference was Director of the Department of Propaganda and Taxpayer Support (General Department of Taxation) Nguyen Thi Thu Ha.
At the Conference, the Tax Department specifically and in detail answered hundreds of questions from businesses, business households and individuals on issues related to tax policies. Specifically, on the application of VAT, corporate income and personal income tax rates; cases eligible for tax extension; how to determine related party transactions; deduction of taxable expenses for some specific cases; conditions and procedures for registering high-tech enterprises; tax reduction policy for enterprises employing many female workers; registration of new foreign contractor tax codes; implementation of tax declaration and payment on behalf of foreign suppliers; foreign contractors...
Director of the Tax Department Nguyen Tien Truong said that by the end of July, the entire sector had collected VND32,956 billion into the budget, reaching 87.7% of the central government's estimate, higher than the national average (the national average is estimated at 70.7%). If deducting land use fees and land rent, the amount was VND18,053 billion, reaching 65.6% of the People's Council's estimate, equal to 116.4% over the same period.
However, the management tasks of the Tax sector in 2024 are quite heavy. One of the goals and solutions to complete the tasks of the Tax Department in the coming time is to strengthen the connection between tax authorities and taxpayers, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers to implement tax laws and policies. The Hai Phong City Tax Department is committed to always making efforts to create a favorable and equal business and investment environment for businesses and taxpayers.
