Real estate stocks surge, VN-Index surpasses 1,490 points

In the trading session on July 17, cash flowed strongly into the market, especially real estate stocks competed to flourish with a series of codes hitting the ceiling price such as: VHM, DIG, LDG, NVL, PTL, VRC, helping VN-Index successfully surpass the 1,490 mark. At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 14.54 points to 1,490.01 points.

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: VHM, VIC, VCB, GEE, VRE, NVL, MSN, SSB, FPT, DIG with an increase of more than 14.22 points. On the other hand, stocks: VPL, OCB , VJC, HPG, BID, TCB, BVH, PNJ, HVN, LPB were sold heavily and took away more than 1.89 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value of this session skyrocketed compared to the previous session, reaching more than 34,219.92 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately 156 VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, NVL shares were bought the most with a value of more than 113 billion VND, followed by HPG (113 billion VND), MSN (69 billion VND), SSI (64 billion VND)... On the contrary, VCB was sold the most (224 billion VND), followed by HCM (76 billion VND), E1VFVN30 (67 billion VND), CII (58 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed up more than 20 points with 19 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 8 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VHM increased to the ceiling price of VND94,100/share, VIC increased by 3.92% to VND122,000/share, VRE increased by 3.3% to VND29,750/share, SSB increased by 3.09%, MSN increased by 1.6%.

Codes: BCM, CTG, FPT, GAS, GVR, HDB, MBB, MWG, SAB, SHB , SSI, VCB, VIB, VPB increased slightly.

Three codes stopped at reference: ACB , TPB, VNM.

On the other hand, VJC decreased by 1.77%, BVH decreased by 1.65%.

The remaining codes: BID, HPG, LPB, PLX, STB, TCB decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for VCA, which unexpectedly hit the ceiling price of VND11,850/share, NKG increased slightly, while the rest were in red. Specifically, TLH decreased by 2.01%, DTL decreased by 1.92%, SMC decreased by 1.5%, HMC, HPG, and HSG decreased slightly.

The group of securities stocks closed the session up 0.36%. Of which, VIX increased by 3.22%, DSC increased by 1.2%, CTS increased by 1.15%, SSI, TCI, TVB increased slightly, along with AGR, VND stopped at reference. On the downside, DSE decreased by 2.88%, TVS decreased by 2.61%, APG, BSI, FTS, HCM, ORS, VCI, VDS decreased slightly.

Banking stocks ended the session up 0.24%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB decreased slightly, MSB increased slightly, OCB decreased 3.88%, NAB stopped at reference.

Real estate stocks, led by Vingroup stocks, raced to rise, closing the session up 4.03%. In addition to the codes: VHM, VIC, VRE mentioned above, DIG, LDG, NVL, PTL, VRC hit the ceiling, DXG increased by 4.21%, DXS increased by 4.35%, HDG increased by 6.62%, KHG increased by 3.59%, NLG increased by 4.92%, PDR increased by 4.24%, QCG increased by 3.67%...

Other stock sectors such as: media and entertainment increased by 4.15%, telecommunications services increased by 2.4%, industrial goods increased by 1.75%, raw materials, utilities, essential aviation trade, software and services, food, beverages and tobacco, and energy increased slightly.

On the other hand, consumer services decreased by 1.01%, insurance and transportation decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index continued to increase strongly today, VNXALL-Index closed up 20.86 points (+0.87%), to 2,407.94 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching more than 1.31 billion units, equivalent to trading value reaching 32,757.61 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 180 stocks increasing in price, 84 stocks remaining unchanged and 205 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 246.09 points, up 3.74 points (+1.54%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 192.78 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND3,364,795 billion. The entire floor had 96 stocks increasing, 66 stocks remaining unchanged and 71 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 11.34 points (+2.25%) to 514.42 points. Trading volume reached about 131.58 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND2,771,019 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 104.21 points, up 1.13 points (+1.10%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 92.45 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than VND 1,009,888 billion. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 183 stocks increasing, 79 stocks remaining unchanged and 104 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 14.54 points (+0.99%) to 1,490.01 points. Liquidity reached over 1.447 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND35,590.16 billion. The entire floor had 209 stocks increasing, 55 stocks remaining unchanged and 115 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 20.28 points (+1.26%) and stood at 1,634.7 points. Liquidity reached more than 451.44 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND15,306.80 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 19 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 8 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were SHB (over 66.95 million units), NVL (over 54.83 million units), DIG (over 51.67 million units), VIX (over 51.28 million units), SSI (over 49.67 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were PTL (6.98%), LDG (6.97%), GEE (6.97%), HVX (6.94%), VHM (6.93%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were VIB (-11.66%), OCB (-8.82%), STG (-6.94%), KDH (-6.91%), HU1 (-6.88%).

* Today's derivatives market has 255,497 contracts traded, worth 41,692.67 billion VND.
